About the Author(s)

Mathijs Lucassen, BOccThy, PGDipHSc (Child and Adolescent Mental Health), NZROT, is an occupational therapist. Mathijs has worked in mental health for eight years in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has a special interest in child and adolescent mental health.

Dr. Iain Doherty, M.Litt, PhD, is the Director of the Learning Technology Unit, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland. Iain has a background in philosophy, education and multi-media. In New Zealand Iain has worked as an Internet Analyst and in the United Kingdom Iain was employed by the University of Edinburgh Management School as Publishing Officer. Iain also has extensive teaching experience at a Tertiary Level both in the United Kingdom and in New Zealand.

Dr. Sally Merry, MBChB, FRANZCP, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who works at the Werry Centre, University of Auckland. Sally has worked in clinical psychiatry for over 15 years in both community and in-patient settings. She has a long-standing interest in teaching and was involved in establishing the Post-Graduate Certificate and Diploma courses in child and adolescent mental health available at the University of Auckland. Sally has a special interest in anxiety disorders, teenage depression and early intervention in psychosis.
