Judine Ladbrook is a Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Auckland. She was on the panel writing the Achievement Standards for English levels 1–3, has co-directed the Auckland and Northland teacher professional development contract on NCEA assessment and has been an Assistant Chief Examiner for School Certificate English. Judine was a national council member on the New Zealand Association for the Teaching of English for a decade and is currently on the Education Reference Group for the Te Marautanga o Aotearoa New Zealand Curriculum Project.
Rob Page is Deputy Principal at Birkenhead College. Rob has twenty years’ experience as a practising English teacher and HOD English. He was an Assistant Chief Examiner for School Certificate English for the last four years of the exam’s life, and has been involved in working with standards-based assessment for ten years. He co-authored English 2.6 with Judine Ladbrook.
