Author biography

Penny Rowland and Stuart Ward both teach at Okaihau College in the Bay of Islands, Northland. Penny teaches geography and social studies; Stuart is one of the Deputy Principals and also teaches social studies.

Jacinda Andrews teaches geography and social studies at Auckland Girls’ Grammar School.

All the maps were prepared specifically for this atlas by Jonette Surridge. She is a cartographer with her own mapping company, Graphic Maps, in Auckland. She is currently working in London for The Crown Estate as Spatial Data and Cartographic Manager on a special Geographic Information project.
